| SYNOPSIS: |
| Alabama, 1940. A young African American lawyer and the daughter of a prominent white family are having a clandestine love affair. His life is jeopardized and he is framed for a murder when the reading of a will reveals that their fathers are fraternal twins and heirs to the white family's fortune, and her family attempts to silence his with racial violence. |
